Mat'o (Bear)
 

Jack G. Cardinal whose French Indian name is Mat’o (bear) has been creating authentic North American Indian artifact reproductions for over 40 years. Mat’o spends hundreds of hours each year making tribal clothes, weapons, musical instruments and ceremonial items utilizing the same methods used by North American Indians hundreds of years ago.

Mat’o is also a well known Indian storyteller who has dedicated his life to educating the public about the American Indian’s life, lore and love of nature.
